Despite the time in which we have to live and work, in a conditions when our centers are under constant threat, our doctors and all staff show incredible efficiency and heroism. Clinics accept all patients, both from the war zone and IDPs, and, among other things, provide them with a permanent place of residence. And even in such circumstances, we found an opportunity to hold a conference of nephrologists, where doctors were able to discuss current issues of nephrology, the work of centers in war conditions, generate new and interesting ideas, share their experience and knowledge, and also receive advice from other specialists.

In particular, nephrologist of Kyiv «Nefrocenter» Olena Vasylivna Burdeyna started the meeting with a speech on the actual topic: "Extracardial consequences of dyslipidemia in PD-patients: possibilities of their pharmacological correction." The informative report and the attached photos made it possible to better consider open questions and discuss the topic of treatment of PD-patients.

Marchenko Valeriya Vasylivna, a nephrologist at the Zaporizhzhia «Nefrocenter», continued the conference with an equally important topic: "Modern treatment of primary and secondary glomerulonephritis." Based on the conducted scientific research, Valeria shared interesting clinical cases, complications of kidney disease treatment and ways to solve them.

Continuing the meeting, Ihor Ivanovich Poperechny, a nephrologist at the Odesa «Nefrocenter», discussed the following topic: "Use of anticoagulants in hemodialysis." Stepping through the stages of the conference, a film on an important topic was presented: "How the network of dialysis clinics "Nefrocenter" works in the conditions of war." Despite the difficult circumstances, systematic rocket attacks, dialysis clinics "Nefrocenter" are making every effort to continue their work. The video shows all the details of daily work, difficulties, effort, perseverance, dedication of the medical staff and administration, gratitude of patients for a chance for life. The second part of the meeting was opened by Rusyn Oksana Igorivna, the head of the «Nefrocenter» in Lviv region. During the speech, an important topic for all dialysis centers was discussed: "Working in a private medical institution: peculiarities of mutual relations". After considering issues directly related to nephrology and the work of the "Nefrocenter" network, the meeting was continued with a speech by the Deputy General Director for Financial affairs. Olena Ihorivna Bitman, on the basis of financial indicators, presented the "Results of the medical centers activity".
