Recommendations of Center for Disease Control and Prevention USA (CDC)

People are considered to be fully vaccinated:

  • Approximately 2 weeks after the second dose in a 2 dose vaccine like: AstraZeneca, Pfizer or Moderna, or;
  • Two weeks after a single shot like; Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen

If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you’re NOT fully vaccinated. Take precautions before receiving full vaccination.

If you have illnesses or you are taking drugs that weaken your immune system, you may NOT be protected, even if you are fully vaccinated. You should continue to take all the precautions recommended to not vaccinated people until the doctor recommends otherwise.

If you are not fully vaccinated and caught the Delta strain of COVID-19, you can still spread the virus to others.

Patients with CKD cannot be protected even if they are vaccinated.

All patients with CKD must wear masks and observe all precautions recommended for not vaccinated people, even if they are fully vaccinated.

To maximize protection from the Delta COVID-19 variant and prevent the possible spread of the virus, wear a mask in public spaces.

If you are fully vaccinated, you can participate in many of the activities that have led to the pandemic and not be quarantined in most of the world.

You’re still going to implement epidemic control measures in your workplace and in public places. If you travel, you must still take measures to protect yourself and others. Wearing a mask is mandatory on planes, buses, trains, and other public transport, regardless of vaccinations.

If you have had contact with an infected person, you must still be tested on COVID-19 3-5 days after contact and minimize public activity for the next 14 days or until you receive a negative test result.

If you have symptoms of COVID-19, you should be examined and stay at home until you get the test results. If your test is positive, self-isolate at home for 10 days.
